Tork Motorcycles have unveiled India’s first electric motorcycle T6X at an introductory price of Rs 1,24,999 (company selling price) in Bangalore today. Along with many features, the T6X will come with many firsts to its credit in the two-wheeler segment.
The T6X will be introduced in three cities of Pune, Bangalore, and Delhi in the first phase, and will be available online and offline. The T6X is powered by Brushless DC 6kw lithium-ion battery with a maximum torque of 27Nm. With 80 percent charge, the electric motorcycle can travel for 100km with a top speed of 100km/h.
The lithium-ion battery takes 60 minutes to charge to 80 percent while the full charge will take two hours. The T6X electric motorcycle features disc brakes on both front and back wheels. The front suspension is taken care by the telescopic fork, while the rear is taken care by the spring loaded hydraulic mono suspension.
As for the battery, the life of it ranges for 1,000 cycles or 80,000 to 1,00,000km depending on usage. As for the features, the T6X sports a fully digital TFT monitor, mobile charging port, GPS and navigation, helmet storage, mobile app support, anti-theft, geofencing, and DRLs.
Tork’s state-of-the-art electric motorcycle T6X comes with the signature TRIOS (Tork Intuitive Response Operating System), the intelligence which powers the T6X. The TRIOS analyzes data of every ride, power management, real-time power consumption, range forecast and also likes to learn how you ride.
The TRIOS intelligence system enables the rider to easily switch between customisable ride modes adjusting the power delivery accordingly. The T6X can be tuned anywhere between sport and eco modes at a touch of a button. The TRIOS updates and incorporates new features automatically via the cloud.
Once launched, Tork T6X will begin a new chapter the country. Motorcycle and auto enthusiasts in the country will have the option for an electric motorcycle for their motoring needs.
