Considering the demand for 100-110cc motorcycles, bike manufacturers are working on mileage-enhancing technology and are rolling out models that yield high fuel economy. Here is a list of top ten best mileage bikes in India that return above 85km/l.
1. Hero Splendor iSmart- 102.5km/l

2. Bajaj Platina CT100 – 99.1km/l

Trailed by Hero Splendor iSmart, Bajaj CT100 bags second spot in the list. Power comes from 99.3cc, single cylinder, air-cooled engine promising an impressive mileage of 99.1km/l. With key features like alloy wheels, sporty graphics, wide tyres etc, the bike is available at a low price of Rs 30,990 (ex-showroom Delhi).
3. Bajaj Platina 100ES- 96.9km/l
Following closely Platina CT100 is yet another contender from Bajaj Platina 100ES. Deriving power from 102cc, DTS-I engine, the bike is claimed to return an imposing 96.9km/l and is priced at Rs 43,241 (ex-showroom Delhi). Among the key features offered on the bike Sns suspension, sporty graphics, alloy wheels etc are included.
4. TVS Sport – 95km/l
TVS launched the updated version of Sport motorcycle last year in India with additional features and mechanical updates claiming increased mileage. Powered by a 99.7cc, single cylinder, air-cooled engine, Sport return 95km/l in standard conditions. Apart from the improved mileage, the bike now gets additional features such as aluminium grab rail, sporty instrument cluster, gear electric start and chrome muffler guard. Available at just Rs 37,196, TVS Sport is a viable choice in commuter segment.

Hero MotoCorp rolled out a refreshed version of Spelndor Pro in festive season last year. While nothing changes on mechanical front, the bike gets a bunch of new features like new visor, new electric start, new grab rail, clear lens indicator, new graphics and revamped fuel tank among others. Currently being retailed at Rs 46,650 (ex-showroom Delhi) the motorcycle gets the frugal 97.2cc, 4-stroke, single cylinder engine good for 93.2km/l.
6. Hero Splendor Pro Classic – 93.1km/l

One of the popular choices in the 100cc bike segment, HF Deluxe features stylish 3D graphics and trapezoidal reflector headlamp. Powering the 100cc bike is a 97.2cc, engine yielding similar mileage at 88.5km/l as its sibling and is available for sale at Rs 42,200 (ex-showroom Delhi).
